Job summary

Assystem is a leading nuclear engineering group recruiting for a role focused on delivering complex projects with high safety and regulatory requirements. You will lead technical delivery, manage issues, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure on-time handovers from design through commissioning.

We seek Chartered engineers with strong project management know-how, CDM awareness, and experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Delivery leadership on technically complex projects with safety and environmental focus.
• Awareness of integrated management systems and applicable policies.
• Expertise in the relevant technical discipline and stakeholder facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of life-cycle handover points and expediting reviews.
• Manage and resolve engineering issues (EQ, EW, NCRs) per contract and RACI.
• Engage approval bodies when Safety Case is impacted.
• Liaise with all parties to ensure timely information exchange and roles.
• Prioritise queries to discharge resolutions efficiently for manufacturing and installation.
• Deliver engineering deliverables with key stakeholders support.
• Provide engineering support throughout activities, interfacing during installation.
• Ensure Technical Acceptance and surveillance delivery per framework.
• Support management of engineering risks/opportunities in ARM.
• Manage design interfaces and supplier feedback.
• Drive technical resolution of manufacturing NCRs with Quality Lead.
• Follow-up equipment qualification programmes to expedite issues.
