Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead the controls function on major infrastructure and construction programmes in the UK. You will oversee cost, schedule, risk and change management, aligning planning, cost and risk to deliver successful outcomes.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary team, report to a Senior Project Controls Leader, and interact with clients and supply chain partners to drive governance, insights and continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience leading project controls on large-scale infrastructure or construction programmes.
• Strong knowledge of cost, schedule, risk and change management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional qualifications such as APM or PMI are desirable.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts and UK construction standards.
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project controls function across major programmes.
• Establish and manage the PMB.
• Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) systems.
• Collate and report KPIs related to time, cost, risk, change and quality.
• Lead governance, reporting cycles, and monthly project review packs.
• Mentor and develop a team of project controls professionals.
• Engage with senior leadership, clients and supply chain partners.
