Job summary

KBR is seeking a Project Controls Manager in the UK to lead integrated controls across complex programmes, delivering timely insights to support decision‑making. The role spans planning, cost, risk, and performance management, embedding governance and change control, and translating data into actionable dashboards for senior stakeholders.

You will collaborate with project managers, commercial teams and clients, maintain schedules and baselines, forecast performance, and mentor project controls

Qualifications

• Experience with complex infrastructure, energy, defence or industrial programmes.
• Strong planning, cost, risk and performance management capabilities.
• Experience working under NEC or similar UK contract frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Controls function for assigned projects or programmes, integrating planning, cost, risk, change, and performance reporting activities.
• Develop, maintain, and assure integrated schedules and cost baselines aligned to approved scope and delivery strategies.
• Establish and manage Performance Measurement Baselines, including forecasting, variance analysis, and earned value reporting.
• Implement project controls governance, processes, and assurance routines to support consistent and compliant delivery.
• Provide clear, decision‑focused reports and dashboards for project leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate inputs from planning, cost, risk, and commercial teams to ensure data integrity and alignment.
• Support change control processes by assessing impacts to schedule, cost, and risk and maintaining baseline integrity.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support delivery objectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls methods, tools, and reporting standards.
