Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems in the United Kingdom invites applications for a Senior Project Controls Analyst. The role interfaces with project managers and stakeholders to promote sound planning, with focus on scope, schedule and budget adherence.

You will monitor and report risks, issues and exceptions, and propose solutions through established escalation routes. The position offers hybrid working arrangements (office and home) with relocation support for qualifying UK applicants.

Qualifications

• Considerable experience working in a controlled project environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project for creating and maintaining project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with risk management tools and practices.
• Ability to support a portfolio of projects of medium to high complexity.
• Flexibility and a service delivery mind-set.
• Solid understanding of project support knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Capability to produce high-quality work on time.
• Familiarity with Project Controller competencies.
• Degree level education or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Project Manager(s) to promote good planning practice and ensure scope, schedule & budget adherence.
• Monitor, report & flag concerns, exceptions and issues through recognised escalation routes, along with proposed solutions.
