Job summary

UK National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL) is seeking a Senior Project Controller to manage project schedules, resource loading, and performance reporting. The role supports PMO activities across nuclear science projects, requiring close collaboration with technical leads and subcontractors.

The position requires experience in planning services, proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project, and the ability to obtain UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience discharging planning services on small–medium scale projects.
• Experience in a Project Controls role.
• Professional qualification in APM or equivalent.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project EPM, Agresso and MS Office.
• Experience using project collaboration software such as Sharepoint/Project Webspace.
• Ability to obtain SC security clearance (5 years UK residency).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules to deliver on time, cost and quality.
• Produce resource-loaded P6 schedules and progress reports.
• Maintain a Basis of Schedule for all schedules.
• Aggregate performance data from sub-contractors and technical leads.
• Provide Earned Value and KPI metrics for project/portfolio health.
• Support change control with cost and schedule impact assessments.
• Monitor critical path and provide 3, 6 and 12 month forecasts.
• Support risk management and governance reporting.
