Job summary

Babcock International in Rosyth is seeking a Senior Project Controller to lead our Advanced Manufacturing Team on high‑impact nuclear manufacturing projects. You will manage integrated schedules, cost control, and reporting to support delivery in a secure national programme.

The role requires Primavera P6 expertise, earned value management, and experience across full project lifecycles. Hybrid working is available, and you must be able to obtain UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience using Primavera P6 in a project planning or project controls environment.
• Understanding of earned value management techniques and rules of credit.
• Experience across full project lifecycles, from bid through to closeout.
• Experience with integrated scheduling and project structure development (WBS/OBS/RBS/CBS).
• Experience applying forensic planning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Project Controls team across multiple workstreams.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (Levels 1–4) to support successful project delivery.
• Define, implement and manage project control structures including WBS, OBS, RBS and CBS.
• Ensure alignment between key project control tools, including Primavera P6, Cobra and IFS, for accurate schedule, cost and material requirement tracking.
• Provide regular schedule updates, metrics and analysis, including critical path and resource/cost‑loaded forecasts that inform financial and delivery performance.
