Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Project Controller in the UK to interface with project managers and finance managers. You will support planning, integrate cost/risk/schedule data, and help improve performance through dashboards and reporting.

The role requires mastery of project controls across complex programmes and a hybrid on-site/remote work pattern. The position offers a compressed nine-day fortnight and flexible benefits, with on-site two days per week on average, and

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Office applications, Project Online and Power BI for creating and maintaining complex project schedules and reports.
• Experience in creating, maintaining and reporting risks using risk management tools.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in project controls incl. planning/scheduling, cost estimation, risk management, performance management (EVM) and change management.
• Proven experience in project controls on complex/major projects with governance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Project Manager(s) to promote good planning practice and ensure scope, schedule and budget adherence.
• Bring together cost, risk and schedule data to inform, report and help improve performance.
• Assist with the development of Project dashboards and automated reporting.
• Support the business with resource management and capacity planning.
