Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Project Controller in the UK. The role interacts with Project Managers, Control Account Managers and Finance Managers to ensure plans, schedules and budgets are aligned.

You will consolidate cost, risk and schedule data to monitor performance and help drive improvements. The successful candidate will develop project dashboards and automated reporting, and support resource management and capacity planning within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Essential proficiency in Microsoft Project, Office apps, Project Online and Power BI for schedules and reports.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and reporting risks using risk management tools.
• Extensive knowledge of project controls including planning, cost estimation, risk and change management.
• Proven experience in project controls on complex programmes with governance and reporting.
• Experience with AI/ML models is preferred; identify opportunities to apply AI for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager(s) to promote good planning and ensure scope, schedule and budget adherence.
• Bring together cost, risk and schedule data to inform performance.
• Develop project dashboards and automated reporting.
• Support resource management and capacity planning.
