Job summary

QinetiQ in the United Kingdom is recruiting for a Senior Project Controller on a 6-month fixed-term contract at Malvern. You will be responsible for project controls across the lifecycle, including planning, monitoring and control of performance, cost and schedule.

Role requires onsite work (37 hours per week, typically in Malvern with three days onsite). Salary £38,700–£43,000 plus benefits, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with project controls across the full lifecycle.
• Ability to plan, monitor, and control projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience with agile, waterfall, or hybrid lifecycles.
• Desirable: ECITB Certificate in Project Controls or PPC Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling: Maintaining project schedules and resource plans, coordinating with managers to optimize outcomes.
• Cost planning and control: Track actual vs. forecast costs, update budgets, and suggest recovery actions.
• Analysis and reporting: Produce clear data insights on schedule, cost and risk to inform decisions.
• Performance management: Ensure governance requirements are followed per PM processes.
