Job summary

Construction in Colchester, Essex is seeking a Senior Project Architect to own projects end-to-end from concept to handover. Colleague will lead across residential, commercial, education and mixed-use schemes in a growing practice.

You'll produce detailed drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, manage budgets and deadlines, liaise with clients on site, and mentor junior architects. Hybrid working model with on-site parking.

Qualifications

• ARB and RIBA qualification with 5+ years UK post-Part III experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of planning processes and building regulations.
• Experience leading projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Take architectural projects from concept through to construction, owning the process end to end.
• Produce detailed drawings and models in Revit and AutoCAD with strong technical detailing.
• Prepare construction documentation and ensure planning/building regulations compliance.
• Get on site to monitor progress, quality and design intent in person.
• Negotiate with clients and contractors in a calm, confident manner.
• Coach and develop junior architects to grow the team.
• Manage multiple live projects with budgets and timelines.
• Bring concepts to life visually using Adobe Creative Suite.

Your day-to-day

• Take architectural projects from concept through to construction, owning the process end to end
