Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR Ltd in the UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major engineering projects within a national programme. The role reports to a Programme Manager and guides a team of Project Managers across schedules, budgets and risks.

Hybrid working is available with attendance at Rolls‑Royce SMR locations as needed. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or related fields, plus PM qualifications or equivalent experience delivering large programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, science, or project management, or equivalent large-project delivery experience.
• PM qualification such as APM PMQ or equivalent, or demonstrable experience leading major projects.
• Experience managing multiple work packages, budgets, risks and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of multiple complex engineering, construction, procurement and regulatory projects within a programme.
• Manage teams of Project Managers with prioritisation and resource allocation.
• Drive project controls across schedule, budget, risk, quality and stakeholders.
• Report progress and embed continuous improvement across projects.
