Job summary

The Senior Professional Indemnity Lawyer will join an established legal risk function within a leading international law firm. The role offers hybrid working and an initial 12-month contract.

You will handle professional indemnity and professional negligence matters, claims, insurance notifications, and reputational risk. You will advise senior stakeholders on complex risk issues and contribute to policies, procedures and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional indemnity and professional negligence within a legal risk framework.
• Ability to manage claims, insurance notifications and reputational risk.
• Strong analytical and advisory skills for senior stakeholders.

This is a varied role advising senior stakeholders on professional risk, claims, insurance and related contentious matters.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Professional indemnity and professional negligence matters
• Claims and potential claims
• Insurance notifications and liaising with insurers and brokers
• Professional and reputational risk
• Complaints and risk mitigation
• Advising senior stakeholders on complex risk issues
• Policies, procedures and professional risk training

The Requirements

You will be a UK-qualified solicitor with strong professional indemnity, professional negligence or professional risk experience.
