We are seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Lines / Professional Indemnity Underwriting team at Victor Insurance UK.

Victor UK is looking for candidates for this position. Access to London, Cambridge, Bristol, Leeds, or Witham would be beneficial for office attendance.

Victor and its subsidiaries operate as a managing general agency (MGA), offering property, liability, motor, and specialty insurance products worldwide. The Senior Financial Lines Underwriter will join a busy team of experienced professionals based in the UK.

We will count on you to:

• Contribute to and implement the underwriting strategy for all products within our risk appetite.
• Develop your career as part of a knowledgeable, supportive, and growing MGA team.
• Operate within your underwriting authority and serve as a technical referral point.
• Build strong relationships with brokers, capacity partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Attend networking and insurance events, as well as broker visits.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring product profitability, and offering market trend feedback to internal teams.
• Potentially deputise for the Product Head when needed.

What you need to have:

• Proven experience in professional indemnity insurance underwriting.
• Thorough understanding of the financial lines insurance market.
• Experience with high underwriting authority levels for professional indemnity insurance.
• Experience working effectively within teams to achieve results.
