Job summary

Basware is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own our AI-native document capture solution — the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and the AI training pipeline that improves accuracy over time. You’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle and work closely with engineering, UX, sales and customer success.

This role is open to candidates across Europe, with authorization to work in Europe; the position supports flexible, hybrid working arrangements across Basware offices or remote options, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years shaping AI/ML-powered products
• Deep understanding of AP processes
• Real working knowledge of AI/ML technologies; able to evaluate model behavior and performance
• Experience designing AI governance, controls, and audit-ready processes
• Strong customer-centric mindset and ability to translate pain points into solutions
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and collaboration across engineering, sales, marketing and CS
• Strong data analysis skills, including accuracy measurement and attribution

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for AI-native document capture.
• Oversee AI process end-to-end: multi-model extraction, feedback loop, training pipeline.
• Define ground truth and accuracy measurement strategy for product performance.
• Apply Governed Autonomy framework to AI decisions with explainability and auditability.
• Engage with customers, prospects and partners to shape the roadmap and drive adoption.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and partner teams to boost usage and revenue.
• Track KPIs for adoption and AI-driven revenue to inform the roadmap.
