Job summary

Basware is building its AI capability deliberately—not as a procurement exercise, but as a structural shift in how the business operates. This AI Lead heads our AI & Automation Centre of Excellence and will set patterns, run experiments, and drive enablement across functions.

You’ll deploy and govern tools like Claude and Copilot, deliver fast proofs of concept, and build playbooks and training to scale adoption while ensuring security and compliance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Background in technology or data with systems-level reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise AI toolset and its platform integrations.
• Run fast proofs of concept and turn successful PoCs into repeatable patterns.
• Build playbooks, prompts and training to enable adoption.
• Design and stand up orchestration that connects tools, data and people.
• Define AI usage policy, governance and security controls.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and align with CIO/AI steering group.
