Job summary

Basware is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own our AI-native document capture solution, including product vision, strategy, roadmap, and the AI training pipeline that improves accuracy over time. The role collaborates with engineering, architecture, UX, sales and customer success across Europe.

The position is open to candidates located anywhere in Europe with authorization to work, offering hybrid work options.

Qualifications

5+ years of product management, incl 2+ years AI/ML powered products with fintech/ILM background.
Deep understanding of AP processes.
Real working knowledge of AI/ML; able to trade off model behavior, confidence & evaluation.
Experience designing AI governance controls for audit.
Customer-centric mindset translating pain points into solutions.
Strong leadership & cross-functional collaboration.
Analytical thinking with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

Own product strategy and roadmap for AI-native document capture with clear competitive insights.
Own the AI process end-to-end: extraction architecture, feedback loop, and training pipeline.
Set ground truth and accuracy measurement strategy to make product accuracy verifiable.
Apply Governed Autonomy framework to AI decisions ensuring explainability and auditability.
Engage with customers, prospects, and partners to shape the roadmap and drive adoption.
Partner with sales, marketing and partner teams to drive usage and adoption.
Track KPIs to measure AI-driven revenue impact and inform the roadmap.
