Job summary

Mycronic’s RoBAT Ltd. in Macclesfield is seeking a Business Leader to define the product vision and translate customer requirements into a market-leading PCB test solution.

You will guide development from concept through commercial launch, balancing innovation with customer value and risk in a hands-on leadership role. You will collaborate with OEMs/CEMs and a multidisciplinary team to deliver a differentiated product for PCB testing, automation and high-speed measurement systems, while shaping

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for technical products.
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Electronics or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation or electronic test equipment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experience defining product requirements and roadmaps.
• Commercial awareness and market analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap.
• Gather and prioritise customer requirements from PCB manufacturers, OEMs/CEMs and test service providers.
• Translate customer needs into detailed product requirements.
• Prioritise development activities based on customer value and commercial return.
• Manage product requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Define product positioning and competitive differentiation.
• Analyse competitor products and emerging technologies.
• Support beta programmes and customer evaluations.
• Work with Sales and Marketing on product launch activities.
• Define pricing strategy and long-term product evolution.
