Evervault is hiring a Senior/Staff Product Engineer for our Cards team in London. You will own end-to-end problems across payments infrastructure, including tokenisation, card network integrations, 3DS and dispute management.

You’ll lead by example, mentor engineers, and shape the technical direction while remaining hands-on. You’ll design APIs and SDKs, build high-throughput distributed systems, and work directly with customers to understand their payment stacks and drive the roadmap from

Formación

• 6+ years of engineering experience with at least 2–4 years in payments infrastructure, fintech, or developer tooling.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, networking and infrastructure beyond frameworks.
• Product-minded approach to API design and developer experience.
• Comfort presenting complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders and customers.
• Founder-like ownership and end-to-end problem ownership.

Responsabilidades

• Build core payments infrastructure including tokenisation, network integrations, 3DS and dispute management.
• Design developer-facing APIs, SDKs and primitives for ease of use.
• Develop high-throughput distributed systems handling millions of card transactions.
• Engage directly with customers to understand payment stacks and debug integrations.
• Ship across the stack: backend services, APIs, UI components and docs.
• Set technical direction and mentor engineers on the team.
