Team

The Platform Design and Research team is central to our vision of creating more economic freedom. We develop secure, trusted, and user-friendly crypto products for beginners and experienced users alike.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll contribute by understanding customer and business needs, developing user journeys, and working closely with cross-functional teams to craft simple, effective experiences that embody Coinbase’s brand and values.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a small team to enhance user experience iteratively
• Develop features from ideation to testing and deployment
• Design intuitive web and mobile interfaces
• Partner with Design Systems team to create scalable components
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback
• Help execute the product roadmap and define strategy
• Work daily with Engineering, User Research, and Product teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Product Design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience designing for web and mobile consumer experiences
• Strong UX, visual design, and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with engineering and research teams
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
• Collaborative, open-minded, and humble attitude
• Interest in crypto or financial products

Nice to Have

• Experience as a Coinbase product user

Compensation

Target annual salary: £132,000 — £145,200 GBP, plus bonus, equity, and benefits including health coverage.
