Job summary

Zen Educate Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Designer in the UK to own problems end-to-end from discovery through shipped product. You’ll design flows, systems, and interfaces that scale, stay close to educators and schools, and contribute to a research machine—turning insights into actionable product direction.

You’ll prototype and validate ideas quickly, collaborate closely with engineers and PMs, and help evolve the design function as the product grows across the UK and US.

Responsibilities

• Own problems end-to-end - from discovery through to shipped product.
• Design flows, systems, and interfaces that are simple, scalable, and high-quality.
• Stay close to the customer - educators, schools, and internal teams, understanding their day-to-day work.
• Build and contribute to our research machine via interviews, observation, data, and real product usage.
• Turn insight into action shaping problems, validating direction, and informing what gets built.
• Create fast feedback loops - test ideas early through prototypes, conversations, and live experiments.
• Prototype and validate ideas quickly with modern tools, including AI-assisted ones.
• Collaborate deeply with engineers and PMs, and contribute to implementation.
• Shape how we work as design evolves at Zen.
