Job summary

Wellio is hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design within a squad, combining research, interface design and front-end work. You will own the design system and collaborate closely with PMs, engineers and content teams to deliver outcomes across the Wellbeing Management System for schools.

In this role, you will ship features, work directly in the codebase with AI tooling, and use research methods to inform design decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product design experience with a track record of shipping successful B2B SaaS products.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, can create well-crafted and highly functional interfaces.
• Experience in user research and testing, turning insights into better design decisions.
• Excellent writing skills, with words as part of the design.

Responsibilities

• Take features from shaping to shipped, owning the design process end to end with your squad's PM and engineers.
• Design complete experiences, from rough sketches to pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Build your designs in the codebase using AI tools and ship front-end changes without a handoff.
• Contribute patterns to a design system that scales across the platform.
• Observe teachers and students using the product, run user interviews, and prototype with users.
