A Day in the Life Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) partners with healthcare providers to improve operational performance, optimize resources, and support high-quality patient care. Within the Procurement and Supplier Management team for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), this role supports the sourcing of medical products and services for IHS-managed Cath Labs and Operating Theatres across the UK.

As a Procurement and Supplier Management Specialist, you will support the sourcing and management of medical products and services for IHS-managed healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for supplier and stakeholder management, procurement analytics, cost optimization initiatives, and ensuring product availability across customer accounts.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with hospitals, suppliers, and internal teams.

This position is virtually based in Watford, United Kingdom and follows a Flex (Hybrid) working model with approximately 20% travel, primarily within the London area with occasional international travel.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Manage sourcing and procurement activities for medical products and services supporting IHS-managed Cath Labs and Operating Theatres
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support account activations, product availability, pricing maintenance, and resolution of operational issues
  • Negotiate, maintain, and analyze supplier pricing to support commercial performance and continuity of supply
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers and monitor supplier performance across managed accounts
  • Track, analyze, and communicate procurement key performance indicators and savings initiatives to stakeholders
  • Engage with hospital customers to understand clinical and operational needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly
  • Prepare data analyses, reports, and presentations to support operational and strategic decision-making

Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Science, Supply Chain, Procurement, or another quantitative discipline and relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, or supplier management Experience working within a large organization, multinational company, or hospital environment with a strong focus on procurement data analysis Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with experience influencing and negotiating across multiple stakeholder groups Experience preparing business presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint Experience managing supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, and procurement performance metrics
