Job Overview

The Society's Procurement Team has an exciting 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity for a Senior Procurement Manager - Business Services.

The team handles procurement and sourcing across the organization, aiming to deliver value through strategic purchasing and category planning.

The Senior Procurement Manager will develop and implement sourcing strategies, working closely with senior stakeholders to source products and services competitively, cost-effectively, and in compliance with policies and regulations.

Candidate Requirements

You should be an excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of managing third-party risks and fostering relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. Essential skills include:

  • Extensive procurement experience (RFI, RFP, contracts, negotiations, supplier management)
  • Proven track record of managing major suppliers and delivering cost savings
  • Ability to source a wide range of products/services and negotiate high-value contracts
  • Strong stakeholder management and resilience
  • Understanding of third-party and supply chain risks
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Financial Services or regulated sectors
  • Knowledge of categories like professional services, lending, credit risk
  • MCIPS qualification or equivalent
