Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is recruiting for a procurement advisory professional to join our Circular Economy & Waste Advisory team in the UK. You will lead and support project delivery, prepare proposals and help develop business opportunities with local authorities, while mentoring junior staff.

Working in a hybrid model, you will engage with clients, draft reports, and contribute to tender and contract documentation, with guidance provided to advance your career within a world-leading

Qualifications

• First degree in science, environment or engineering.
• Pertinent experience in environmental and waste services or infrastructure procurement for local authorities.
• Experience drafting documents: technical specifications, tender, payment mechanisms.
• Experience with competitive dialogue/procurement procedures.
• Ability to work with Council officers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with on-time delivery and high client satisfaction.
• Provide input as technical expert on waste projects and reports.
• Attend client meetings from inception to final reporting.
• Lead and support development of high-quality proposals.
• Develop and deliver services with robust, time- and cost-effective methodologies.
• Build and maintain relationships to grow client base and pipelines.
