Job summary

AMC Group is seeking an experienced Engineering leader to establish and head an Engineering Department at our site in the UK. You will supervise a multi-discipline team, drive digitalisation of production and warehousing, and implement process improvements across existing lines.

You will collaborate with R&D, QC, EH&S and Sales to introduce new products and technologies, ensuring safe, efficient operation and continuous improvements on site.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on approach with willingness to get involved in production.
• Creative mindset to develop engineering solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Set up and build an Engineering Department.
• Lead and supervise a team (Process & Production Engineer, Maintenance operator, HPASA Engineer).
• Digitalisation of production and warehousing (Bar Code System).
• Process analysis and improvements for existing production lines.
• Introduction of new products into production scale with R&D.
• Introduction of new technologies on plant scale.
• Find engineering solutions for plant problems.
• Support and backup for the Site Manager.
• Supervise/optimise plant maintenance including buildings and general site.
• Supervise/optimise Site Security Systems (Cameras, lone worker system).
• Develop statistical tools to control process and quality.
• Interact with equipment suppliers, organise trials.
• Collaborate with QC, R&D, EH&S, Sales; work with EH&S to maintain safety.
