Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process design activities within its UK Nuclear team. The role involves delivering multi-disciplinary design solutions, client engagement, bids, and project delivery in line with safety and environmental standards.

You will work on diverse UK-based nuclear projects, collaborating with civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineers to ensure safe, compliant, and innovative outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in chemical engineering with strong process engineering foundation.
• Chartered or near-chartered status with IChemE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce process engineering deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions) as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare Basis of Design (BoD) and Design Justification Reports.
• Carry out mass and enthalpy balances; underpin design calculations.
• Liaise with other discipline engineers to ensure fully integrated multi-discipline design.
