Seloxium Limited is a dynamic spin-out from the University of Oxford, based in Redcar, Teesside. We design and scale up advanced selective flocculation processes for sustainable metal recovery, with support from European funding.

This on-site Process Engineer (Design and Scale up) role bridges development work and engineering in our pilot plant and facilities. You will lead design, commissioning and optimization of pilot-scale equipment, collaborating across engineering, operations and safety to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in relevant engineering field.
• 10+ years in process engineering with scale-up focus.
• Experience with pilot plant design and operation.
• Strong data analytics and technical reporting skills.
• Knowledge of process safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, operate, and maintain pilot plant equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scale-up activities.
• Lead commissioning of new equipment and pilot systems.
• Document procedures, risk assessments and compliance records.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety and sustainability.
