Job summary

Seloxium Limited seeks a seasoned Projects and Grants Lead to coordinate a diverse portfolio of technical development, pilot deployment and grant-funded projects. You will align priorities with contractual commitments and deliverables across engineering, operations and finance teams.

Reporting to the COO, you will implement robust project management systems, manage budgets and risks, and drive successful grant applications and funded projects in a fast-changing, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience delivering complex projects or programmes in engineering, industrial, scientific or tech environments.
• Strong track record coordinating multidisciplinary teams against tight schedules.
• Experience with grant-funded projects and publicly funded programmes such as Innovate UK/European grants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Seloxium's portfolio of technical development, pilot deployment, customer, commercial and grant-funded projects.
• Translate and monitor strategic priorities and contractual commitments into clear delivery plans.
• Establish project ownership, budgets, risks and deadlines across cross-functional teams.
• Move between detailed planning, external stakeholders, grant administration and leadership reporting.

Who are we?

SeloxiumLimited is a specialist critical metals recovery business, working with industrial manufacturers and mining operations to recover high-value materials from waste streams.

We are a fast-paced company at an exciting stage of development, scaling our operations across an R&D laboratory facility in Oxford and a pilot processing plant in theNortheastof England.

As we grow, we are looking for an experienced and highly organised Projects and Grants Lead to coordinate our portfolio of technical,commercialand grant-funded projects. This is a key role that will bring teams together, establishclear project ownership and ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget andin accordance withcontractual and funding requirements.

Reporting to the COO, the successful Projects and Grants Lead will take responsibility for coordinatingSeloxium'sportfolio of technical development, pilot deployment, customer, commercial and grant-funded projects.

Working across research and development, engineering, operations, commercial and finance teams, you will translateandmonitorstrategic priorities and contractual commitments into clear, achievable delivery plans. You will ensure that responsibilities, dependencies, budgets,risksand deadlines are understood and actively managed.

This is a hands-on role. You willestablishefficient projectmanagement systems while moving between detailed project planning, cross-functional coordination, externalstakeholders, grantadministrationand reporting to senior leadership.

Our Projects and Grants Lead playsan important rolein supporting new grant applications and managing awarded projects. This will include coordinating partner contributions, developing credible work plansand Gantt charts withassociated budgetsand staffing ensuring that technical,financialand administrative deliverables are completed to the required standard.

• A Degree in engineering, science, or a related discipline

• Demonstrable experience in project or programme management

• Experience with grant-funded projects

We think you can demonstrate:

• Significantseniorexperience delivering complex projects or programmes in an engineering, industrial,scientificor technology-led environment

• A strongtrack recordof coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delivering against challenging schedules

• Experience managing several projects concurrently, with competing priorities and shared resources

• Practical experience of project planning, budgeting, riskmanagement,governanceand reporting
• Experience supporting or managing publicly funded projects, ideally including Innovate UKandEuropeangrant programmes

• Experience working with external partners, customers,suppliersor consortium members

• Experience in an SME, start-up or high-growth business

• Experience of pilot plants, process development, industrial scale-up, capital projects or customer technologydeployments

You might also have:

• Experience in chemicals, critical minerals, metals recovery,recycling or process industries

• Experience preparing successful Innovate UK or European grant applications

• Experience managing collaborative R&D or industrial innovation programmes

• Experienceestablishing project management processes within a growing organisation

• Experience coordinating engineers, chemistsand operators, along withequipment suppliers or EPC partners

• Familiarity with industrial health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements

• Knowledge of technology readiness levels and the transition from R&Dto pilot and commercial deployment
