Job summary

Seloxium Limited in Redcar, England, is seeking a Process Chemist to support Analytical Laboratory activities in a fast-paced start-up setting at The Wilton Centre. You will perform routine analyses and assist with developing advanced selective extraction methods for Aqua Mining technology.

The role requires a chemistry degree and practical lab experience, including instrumentation handling, with strong attention to safety and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, ChemicalEngineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrable and practical experience (ideally 5 years+) in laboratory techniques such as solution preparation, pipetting, titration, and basic instrumentation handling.
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation and data analysis, including methods such as ICP, UV-Vis spectroscopy, or chromatography is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory safety and cleanliness.
• Excellent organisational, problem solving and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work well independently and within a small and multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative start-up environment.
• Are able to work on-site in Redcar, U.K.
