Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting a Senior Process Engineer for an Exeter based role. You will join a team of four to assess existing engineering processes, analyse data and recommend practical improvements within a 5S framework.

The successful candidate will drive production efficiency, support KPI reporting on QA/QC and product development, and partner with the process owner to implement new equipment while advancing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of process/manufacturing engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive efficient and consistent production by monitoring, maintaining and improving production processes.
• Support process manager with reporting of key metrics including Quality assurance, Quality Control and Product Development.
• Actively participate in the departments help-chain, to support with process related issues, investigate and diagnose manufacturing and quality deviations, equipment failures to root cause.
• Support collection and review of department specific process control data.
• Assist the process owner with the introduction and integration of new equipment.
• Participate in the departmental 5S regime, contributing to TPM implementation and OEE measurement and improvement for critical equipment.
• Actively engage in Continuous Improvement Kaizen events focused on process optimisation.
