Job Description:

CEN Resources is partnering with a successful and growing engineering consultancy based in Glasgow. Due to project growth, they are hiring a Senior Process Engineer. The company operates in industries such as Energy, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, and Life Sciences. Responsibilities:

• Support Lead Process and Process Safety Engineers in Process Design across project phases.
• Develop sizing calculations for Process equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, etc.) and prepare datasheets.
• Prepare process equipment and instrument documents for projects.
• Provide design input for drawings, review and check design documents.
• Stay updated with standards, software, and procedures, and implement them.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and process simulators; site experience is a plus.
• Conduct site visits for surveys and meetings.
• Support process safety deliverables like HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR, and HAC studies.
• Prepare process specifications, diagrams, and data sheets, including process basis, flow diagrams, heat/mass balances, P&ID diagrams, material selection, line and equipment lists.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering.
