Job Description:

CEN Resources is partnering with a successful and growing engineering consultancy based in Glasgow. Due to growth and project awards, our client is hiring a Senior Process Engineer. They operate within various process industries such as Energy, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, and Life Sciences. Responsibilities:

• Support Lead Process and Process Safety Engineers in all aspects of Process Design for Concept, FEED, and detailed design phases.
• Develop sizing calculations for Process equipment (Pumps, Heat Exchangers, distillation columns, compressors, separators, reactors, etc.) and prepare datasheets.
• Prepare process equipment and instrument-related documents.
• Provide design input for engineering drawings and review design documents.
• Stay updated with new standards, software, and procedures, implementing them in daily work.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and chemical process simulators; experience on production sites is a plus.
• Perform site visits for surveys and meetings.
• Support process safety deliverables including HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR, and HAC studies.
• Prepare process specifications, drawings, and deliverables, including Process Design basis, P&ID diagrams, heat and mass balances, material and line lists, equipment data sheets.

Qualifications & Desirable Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering.
• Familiarity with process design in chemical plants.
• Excellent communication skills.
