Job Description:

CEN Resources is partnering with a successful and growing engineering consultancy based in Glasgow. Due to growth and project awards, our client is hiring a Senior Process Engineer. The company operates within various process industries such as Energy, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, and Life Sciences. Responsibilities:

• Support Lead Process and Process Safety Engineers in process design across project phases (Concept, FEED, detailed design).
• Develop sizing calculations for process equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, compressors, separators, reactors) and prepare datasheets.
• Prepare process equipment and instrument documents for projects.
• Provide design input for engineering drawings.
• Review and check design documents/drawings.
• Stay updated with standards, software, procedures, and implement improvements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and process simulators; experience on production sites is a plus.
• Conduct site visits for surveys and meetings.
• Support process safety deliverables (HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR, HAC), including scribing and facilitation.
• Prepare process specifications, diagrams, and data sheets.
