Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Principal Process Design Engineer to lead innovative water and wastewater process solutions across UK projects. Based in the UK with flexible working, you will guide technical delivery from concept to detailed design, ensuring governance, quality and safety standards are met.

You will mentor engineering teams, influence project strategy, support major bids and drive continuous improvement while delivering operating and environmental performance improvements for

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design projects.
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment principles.
• Ability to develop innovative and cost-effective treatment solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex process engineering solutions for water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop innovative, practical and risk-balanced treatment solutions.
• Ensure designs are safe, compliant and operationally efficient.
• Produce and review process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs and technical reports.
• Optimise processes for regulatory compliance and life-cycle costs.
• Support major bids and contribute to project delivery strategies.
• Mentor engineers and promote continuous improvement.
