MWH Treatment is seeking a Principal Civil Design Engineer to lead civil designs for UK water and wastewater projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, influence project strategy, and deliver sustainable, cost-effective solutions while upholding engineering excellence.

Essentially, you should be degree-qualified in Civil Engineering with significant UK water sector experience, and be capable of taking ownership from concept through delivery, including bid support and technical governance.

Qualifikationen

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng, MEng or equivalent).
• Significant experience within the UK water and wastewater industry.
• Knowledge of water and sewage treatment principles and associated civil infrastructure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering design projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of complex civil engineering designs within the water and wastewater sector.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop practical, innovative, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs are safe, sustainable, compliant, buildable and cost-effective.
• Produce, review and approve design documentation, calculations, specifications and drawings.
• Support major project bids and contribute to successful project outcomes.
• Act as a technical reviewer and maintain engineering governance and quality standards.
• Mentor, coach and develop engineers to strengthen technical capability.
