Job summary
MWH Treatment Limited in the UK is seeking a Principal Process Design Engineer to lead innovative and compliant water and wastewater process solutions across major projects.
You will provide technical leadership, mentor teams and shape project strategy from concept through detailed design, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance while delivering efficient whole-life solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Significant UK water/wastewater project delivery experience.
- Strong understanding of water treatment principles and operations.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering design projects.
- Ability to develop innovative, cost-effective treatment solutions.
- Experience producing process calculations, PFDs and P&IDs.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and delivery of complex process engineering solutions for water and wastewater projects.
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop innovative, practical, risk-balanced treatment solutions.
- Ensure designs are safe, compliant and operationally efficient.
- Produce and review process calculations, mass balances, PFDs and P&IDs.
- Optimise processes for regulatory compliance and whole-life cost efficiency.
- Support major project bids and delivery strategies.
- Mentor engineers and maintain high engineering governance.
