Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a Lead Business Analyst, Process & Automation to join our Capital and Payments team. You will own end-to-end projects—map end-to-end flows, diagnose root causes, and design better processes with automation. You’ll coordinate with stakeholders and ensure adoption, with AI playing a central role in our workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business analysis, process improvement, operations, implementation, or product operations.
• Strong analytical skills using data, queries, and dashboards to validate problems and prove outcomes.
• Experience turning ambiguous business needs into clear requirements and delivery plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and written/presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define: map end-to-end flows and handoffs for real-world process execution.
• Diagnose: identify root causes, quantify time, money and customer impact.
• Design: translate findings into clear requirements, better flows, and delivery plans; oversee automation, tooling, data and controls.
• Instrument: lead testing, launch readiness, measure impact, drive adoption, and hand ownership back to the owning team.
• Establish AI-enabled workflows with bounded, multi-step processes and evaluation methods." ,
• Partner with cross-functional teams to turn operational findings into business cases for Product and Tech priorities.
