Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a Lead Business Analyst, Process & Automation to join our Capital and Payments team. You will own projects end to end, map end-to-end flows, diagnose root causes, and design better processes with measurable outcomes, coordinating automation and data solutions across stakeholders.

This hands-on, individual-contributor role requires strong analytical skills, 7+ years of relevant experience, and a proven ability to drive adoption.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business analysis, process improvement, operations, implementation, or product operations.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end processes and handoffs; diagnose root causes and quantify losses.
• Design clear requirements, improved flows, and delivery plans with measurable success criteria; coordinate automation, tooling, data and controls.
• Lead testing and launch readiness; track impact against measures and drive adoption; hand ownership back to the receiving team.
• Establish how we use AI agents in operations and deploy them for bounded workflows; design evaluation methods to prove effectiveness.
• Partner with non-ops teams to turn findings into business cases for longer-term solutions.
