Job summary

Anglian Water Group is seeking a Senior Operations Technician to help shape proactive screening maintenance across the region. Reporting to the Proactive Screens Manager, you will lead by example, provide technical expertise, and support the development of technicians within the team, focusing on reliability and efficiency of water recycling assets across treatment works and pumping stations.

Qualifications

• NVQ/C&G Level 3 qualifications in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Full driving licence.
• Strong Health and Safety awareness in operational environments.
• Ability to adapt communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of inlet screens and water recycling processes helpful.
• Coaching and mentoring team members.
• Capable of working in confined spaces and at height; HAV checks may be required.
• Customer service skills and empathetic professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe working practices and follow safety rules.
• Manage resources to deliver maintenance within SLA.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to complete actions on service.
• Drive continuous improvement via new ideas/equipment.
• Provide expert support to monitor and coach field resources for service and maintenance.
