Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Senior Operations Technician to join our Proactive Screens Team across Peterborough, Cambridge, Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. You will lead maintenance of inlet screens and improve reliability and safety of water recycling assets at treatment works and pumping stations.

Reporting to the Proactive Screens Manager, you will plan activities, coordinate workloads and coach technicians while collaborating with suppliers and contractors to optimise spares,

Qualifications

• Full driving licence.
• NVQ/C&G Level 3 qualification in mechanical/electrical/engineering (essential).
• Experience with health and safety in an operational environment.
• Ability to adapt communication style for diverse stakeholders.
• Customer service and empathetic professional approach.
• Knowledge of inlet screens and water recycling processes is beneficial.
• Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at height within safety limits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve reliability and safety of water recycling assets.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities across sites.
• Lead by example and support development of technicians.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to improve parts availability.
• Drive continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
