Zusammenfassung

LGPS Central is seeking a Senior Investment Risk Manager to lead the design, delivery and embedding of investment risk management for Private Markets, including private equity, infrastructure, private debt and property. You will shape the Investment Risk Policy, strengthen risk frameworks and drive dashboards for informed decision making.

You will work with the Head of Investment Risk, mentor staff and deputise when needed, in a hybrid working environment that values collaboration and rigorous

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrable experience in Investment Risk Management, focused on Private Markets.
• Familiarity with Private Markets risk frameworks, valuation and liquidity oversight.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills for risk modelling and reporting.
• Experience with private markets risk modelling and third‑party systems.
• Ability to manage and interpret large, complex data sets.

Aufgaben

• Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the Investment Risk Policy.
• Maintain and enhance the Investment Risk Universe for Private Markets.
• Prepare papers for Investment Committee and Oversight bodies with insights.
• Ensure effective operation of the risk framework, escalation and approvals.
• Design and develop risk reporting models and dashboards.
• Develop look‑through analytics for fund structures and private assets.
• Provide data quality governance in valuation and risk reporting.
• Mentor and coach junior team members and collaborate cross‑functionally.
