Job summary

LGPS Central, based in Wolverhampton, is seeking an Investment Analyst to contribute across the investment function, supporting long-term investment outcomes across major asset classes in a FCA-regulated environment.

You will deliver high-quality research and analysis, assist in sourcing and assessing investments, and support portfolio construction, monitoring and governance processes for Partner Funds.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting investment processes within asset management, pensions or a financial institution.
• Understanding of investment principles, portfolio construction and risk-return trade-off across multiple asset classes.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse investments and document rationale and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality research and analysis to support investment decisions across LGPS Central’s asset class universe.
• Assist in sourcing, assessment and recommendation of new investments in line with strategies and processes.
• Support portfolio construction, implementation and ongoing monitoring.
