Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is building a greenfield private cloud platform based on OpenStack, delivering scalable infrastructure services for engineering teams. You will work across infrastructure and software to build, operate, and improve platform capabilities.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and developer experience, with a focus on 24/7 reliability, performance tuning, and collaboration with platform teams to support frictionless workflows for end users.

Qualifications

Experience with Linux systems.
Hands-on experience with Terraform/Ansible or other IaC tools.
Experience of working in a DevOps / SRE environment.
Programming experience in Python or similar.
Understanding and ability to debug compute, networking, storage in large production environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build and operate a secure OpenStack environment.
Implement systems using Infrastructure as Code.
Develop automation, tooling to build and extend the platform.
Support and enhance infrastructure CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor, identify and fix issues across compute, storage and networking.
Collaborate and engage with infrastructure and platform teams to support frictionless workflows for our end users.
Contribute to 24/7 platform reliability, scalability and performance tuning.
