Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Cambridge is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help operate and improve our Storage Infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with IT, Project Managers, and Scrum teams to deliver reliable services for product development.

Key tasks include automation via IaC, building scalable production systems, developing internal storage applications, and ensuring security controls and cost monitoring.

Qualifications

• DevOps experience required.
• Terraform and Redhat Ansible Automation Platform experience.
• Python proficiency and scripting ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Storage Infrastructure across geographies and resolve incidents.
• Manage storage services via Change Management processes.
• Develop scalable infrastructure through automation and IaC per designs.
• Build and maintain highly available production systems.
• Develop, test, review code and maintain internal storage apps.
• Create tools for deployment, monitoring, and storage cost analysis.
• Manage portfolio per security policies and controls.
• Enforce Identity and Access Management controls.
• Define and monitor storage infrastructure with thresholds.
• Document the current environment and maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and document fixes.
• Produce and maintain documentation of support processes and resolutions.
