Job summary

Clear IT Recruitment Ltd is helping a busy Wills & Probate team in Bolton recruit an experienced Solicitor or CILEX to handle a busy caseload from instruction to completion.

You will advise on wills, LPAs, probate, estates, and Court of Protection matters, supervise colleagues, and maintain accurate records. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and client-focused service in a local firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with at least 3 years PQE.
• Strong knowledge of Wills, LPAs, Probate and Estate Administration.
• Familiar with Mental Capacity Act and testamentary trusts.
• Experience supervising or mentoring colleagues is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of Private Client matters from instruction through to completion.
• Attend client appointments at the office, in care homes and at clients' homes where required.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure effective file management.
• Prepare correspondence and legal documentation to a high standard.
• Contribute to the continued development and success of the department.
• Take an active role in your own professional development and continuous learning.

Qualified Solicitor or CILEX status

Wills, LPAs, Probate knowledge

Mental Capacity Act knowledge

Testamentary trusts experience

STEP qualification advantageous
