Job summary

Clayton Recruitment Limited in Stockport is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to take ownership of a varied caseload, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Court of Protection work.

You will develop client relationships, manage your own fee income, time recording and billing, and contribute to the department’s growth. The firm offers a generous benefits package, strong support from senior colleagues, and real progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Private Client Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE.
• Strong knowledge of Wills, Probate and Estate Planning.
• Organised, commercially aware and confident managing own caseload.
• Proactive in business development to grow the department.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of private client matters including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work.
• Take responsibility for your own fee income, time recording, billing and cash collection.
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to the department's development and client network through business development.
