Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking a Private Client Senior Associate for its Birmingham office. You will manage a high-quality private client caseload, advising high-net-worth individuals and families on wills, trusts, estate planning and probate within a national firm.

Hybrid working is supported, combining time in the Birmingham office with home working. The role offers exposure to agricultural and landed estate clients and opportunities to develop the Birmingham Private Client practice.

Qualifications

• Experienced Private Client Solicitor capable of independently managing a varied and complex caseload.
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families or business owners on wills, trusts, estate planning and estate administration.
• Comfortable developing long-term client relationships and contributing to business development at Senior Associate level.
• Experience involving agricultural or landed estate clients is useful but not essential.

• Manage complex wills and estate planning
• Create and administer trusts
• Handle inheritance tax and succession planning
• Oversee probate and estate administration
• Draft Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Advise high-net-worth individuals and families
• Collaborate with business owners and agricultural clients on wealth planning
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and professional referrers
• Contribute to growth of the Birmingham Private Client practice
