Job summary

Our client, based in Blackheath, London, seeks an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join a growing team within a well‑established firm known for excellent client service.

You will handle a broad range of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, LPAs and estate planning, while developing long‑term relationships with individuals and families in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Wills, probate, estate administration, trusts and LPAs.
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• STEP or SFE accreditation desirable, or willingness to work towards qualification.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion.
• Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning matters.
• Handling estate administration and probate matters.
• Advising on trusts and tax planning.
• Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Encouraging repeat business and referrals across the firm.
• Meeting time recording and billing targets.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
