Job summary

Trip.com Group is seeking a Senior Privacy Compliance Specialist to bridge European regulatory requirements with our HQ engineering and product teams. You will translate GDPR obligations into actionable technical requirements and lead privacy programmes across Europe, including DSR systems and data transfer controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data privacy or compliance.
• Strong understanding of GDPR fundamentals including DSRs, cross-border transfers and DPIAs.
• Experience translating legal requirements into technical solutions with Product/Engineering.
• Willingness to be based in Europe long term.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct privacy intelligence research and risk analysis with local legal teams to track GDPR developments.
• Lead European compliance programmes coordinating with HQ Product and Engineering teams on GDPR implementation.
• Translate European legal requirements into clear technical requirements for HQ teams.
• Lead the GDPR certification project and coordinate external audits.
• Support GDPR data subject rights and data subject requests for European units.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across time zones and languages.
• Provide day-to-day guidance including risk assessments and vendor reviews.
