Zusammenfassung

Fireworks AI is seeking a Senior Privacy Specialist to own the UK/EU privacy program and be the privacy presence as we scale our European footprint. You will handle regulator correspondence and ensure compliance with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018 as part of a small global privacy team.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and legal to embed privacy-by-design, oversee DPIAs and DSARs, and govern cross-border transfers while contributing to AI governance

Qualifikationen

• 5–7 years of privacy or data protection experience.
• Deep knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Experience as sole or primary privacy owner for a region, product, or company.
• Hands-on with DPIAs and DSARs; able to advise product and engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineering, legal, sales, and executives.

Aufgaben

• Be senior privacy contact for UK/EU; liaise with ICO and authorities for regulatory inquiries.
• Provide privacy guidance to product, engineering, GTM, and Legal.
• Own UK/EU data subject rights outcomes; manage statutory deadlines and exemptions.
• Oversee cross-border transfer compliance (UK IDTA, EU SCCs) and TIAs.
• Lead breach assessment and notification for UK/EU; coordinate with Security and Legal.
• Embed privacy-by-design in new products, features, models, and vendors.
• Collaborate on AI governance privacy in model training, fine-tuning, and inference.
• Keep UK/EU privacy notices and policy library accurate and aligned to obligations.
• Take on additional privacy projects as the program grows.
